I thought it would be fun to get a reminder of what it used to look like... I should have taken more before pics.

BEFORE

BEFORE - Mom-Mom wanted her daughters to feel like they were on a tropical vacation at all times ;)  True Story... this wallpaper was hung while 2 of her daughters were on a cruise.

BEFORE                               AFTER - sorry we couldn't live with the
wallpaper but I plan to use this wall to
display alot of our family memories
                                                                       (especially mom-mom memories)

BEFORE - Original Middle Bedroom - the door to the left is the closet door.  This entire wall has been shifted forward and the window in this picture was removed because the wall partition needed to go here to make enough space for the two front bedrooms.

BEFORE - So here you still see the original three windows.  And now there are only 2 that remain in the master bedroom due to all the floorplan changes...

AFTER - I do eventually want to cut in 2 more windows to bring back the symmetry which is very important in Craftsman Design and Architecture.  But that's a major budget buster right now.  So add it to the "Someday..." list.

Paint! Work in progress...but here's some pics!

Master Bedroom - Benjamin Moore "Tranquility" - its a blue/gray/green color.  It changes shades depending on the lighting in the room

This is the larger of the two "kids" rooms.  We painted both rooms with Benjamin Moore "Quiet Moments".  Its another blue/gray/green color but its about 3 shades lighter than "Tranquility".  Since the rooms are small I thought a lighter color makes much more sense.  Its hard to see the color in these rooms right now.  But after the trim and roman shades are on the windows, it will probably show up better in pictures.  It looks really good in person!

So that's it for paint so far...we still have to do the hallway and bathroom which may be finished this weekend.  And I will add more pics then.
